What is the ACCA?

ACCA stands for Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a leading agency in international accounting. Its members are required to pass a series of tests to qualify. The qualification is internationally recognized and treated in other countries as equivalent to local.

The examinations cover all aspects of corporate governance to purely technical - such as accounting and cost accounting - to the more theoretical aspects such as motivation theory and theories of risk.

In this sense, is very similar to an MBA, but offers a more practical emphasis. The rating is not intended for any particular business sector - the examinations cover all areas of business management.
